Agent Users: Being Removed From a CORE Team Add-On

This article discusses who will be the responsible party when removing agent users from the CORE Team Add-On and what to be aware of before and after the removal.

When you are ready to be removed from a Team in kvCORE, it is essential that you speak with your Team Leader or Team Admin of the CORE Team Add-On.
1. The Admin of the team has the access and are the only ones allowed to remove an agent user from their CORE Team Add-On.
eXp Realty Support does not remove Agents from Team accounts. They will direct agents back to their Team Leader or Admin for removal.
1. Reasons: LEAD OWNERSHIP. Often, when an Agent is a part of a Team but decides to leave, the Team Admin must reassign or move Team leads. Additionally, Team Admins and Agents sometimes have to work through how to serve other leads best.
If you have reached out to Team Leader about being removed and they are unresponsive, please reach out to your State Broker. They can assist with reaching out to the Team Leader and have escalation paths if the Team Leader doesn't respond.

It is important to note that eXp Realty Staff DOES NOT get involved in any Team, lead ownership, or account removal disputes.

With any account, Agents own and get to keep the leads they own.
Being a part of a Team, you might have access to leads that are only assigned to you, but you don't own them. The Team Leader can, at any time, move, delete, or reassign any leads they own. If you leave a Team, you will not be able to keep Team owned leads. Additionally, even if export your leads, Team leads will not be included in that export.

It is important to remember that most Teams allow their Agents to make their Lead "Private".

If you are leaving a Team and don't want the Team Leader to see or have access to your lead anymore, consider making them Private.
