Mentee Checklist

What is expected of you, the mentee

Our goal is to provide mentees with the tools and resources necessary for success in the Real Estate industry!
 
Because accountability and action are an integral part of success, we have set the following expectations for agents participating in the Mentor Program:
 
  • Upon being paired with a Certified Mentor, please connect with them as soon as possible to discuss goals, scheduling, expectations, etc.
  • Maintain regular communication with your Certified Mentor throughout your participation in the Program
  • Inform your mentor of any upcoming transactions
  • Allow your mentor to review client/transaction documents prior to sending them for signature
  • Make yourself available for shadowing/training opportunities with your mentor
  • Below are examples of appointments that a mentee might shadow or role-play with their mentor:
    • Listing Appointment
    • Buyer Presentation
    • Showing Appointment
    • Open House
    • Offer Presentation
    • Home Inspection
    • Repair Negotiation
    • Final Walkthrough
    • Closing Appointment

  • Complete the New Agent Bootcamp curriculum
  • Attend Provincial Meetings & Training Sessions
  • Inform Mentor Program Staff if your mentor becomes unresponsive
  • Pay the 20% Mentor Program Fee on transactions completed within the Program
  • Close three Program transactions with the support of your mentor
  • Complete the transaction waiver form for any transaction taking place outside of the Mentor Program while participating in the Program
