How do I contact my State Broker for real estate, compliance, and state-specific questions?

Only your State Broker at eXp can answer Real Estate-specific questions. This article covers when and how to reach them.

Your State Broker Team is your go-to resource for anything involving real estate guidance, compliance, or state-specific rules. Reach out to them for:

  • Contract and form questions
  • Transaction decisions
  • Listing and disclosure requirements
  • Cancelling or modifying agreements
  • State-specific policies and requirements
  • Commission disputes or cooperation issues with other brokerages
  • Dual agency and representation questions
  • Buyer or seller disputes during a transaction
  • Advertising and marketing compliance (what you can and can't say in listings, social posts, and signage)
  • License-related questions specific to your state
  • Fair housing questions
  • Realtor Association, MLS, and NAR membership questions (which associations to join, NAR requirements, etc.)
  • Property management and rental activity as a licensed agent
  • Lockboxes and other local resources

If your question is essentially "what should I do in this real estate situation?" — that's a State Broker question.

There are two easy ways to reach them.

The fastest is the State Resource Center at https://us.exprealty.com/. Select your state to find your Broker Team's contact information, state-specific resources, and office hours.

You can also connect with your Broker Team in eXp World. Log in at https://exp.world/welcome, use the "Go To" menu, select US Broker Rooms, and choose your state.

One important note: eXpert Care does not provide real estate advice, compliance direction, or transaction guidance — those questions must go to your State Broker. If you're ever unsure whether a question is real estate-specific, default to contacting your State Broker.
