How do I contact my State Broker for real estate, compliance, and state-specific questions?
Your State Broker Team is the right contact for real estate practice, transactions, compliance, and state-specific questions. This article covers what they handle and how to reach them.
Your State Broker Team is your direct line for state-specific real estate guidance at eXp. They're the right contact for:
- Contract and form questions (which form to use, contract interpretation, addenda)
- Transaction decisions and guidance — "what do I do in this deal"
- Compliance questions and state-specific real estate practice rules
- Lockboxes — getting a lockbox, returning a lockbox, and obtaining lockbox codes (processes vary by state)
- Joining or transferring to or from eXp Realty (offboarding, reactivation, brokerage moves)
- Sponsor or onboarding questions tied to your state
- Newly licensed guidance, including which MLS or Realtor Association to join in your service area
- State-specific marketing and advertising compliance
If your question is essentially "what should I do in this real estate situation?" — that's a State Broker question.
How to reach your State Broker Team
There are two main ways:
Direct email
U.S. agents: stateabbreviation.broker@exprealty.net — for example, ca@exprealty.net for California or fl@exprealty.net for Florida.
Canadian agents: provinceabbreviation.broker@exprealty.net — for example, on.broker@exprealty.net for Ontario.
State Agent Resource Guide
Each state has a dedicated page with your broker's contact info, list of managing brokers, state-specific resources, live and recorded trainings, and links to your state's Broker Room in eXp World:

Select your state to view contacts, resources, and trainings.
For Canadian agents
Canadian agents have their own equivalent hub with Provincial Broker contacts and resources:

A note on Commercial transactions
If your question is about a commercial transaction, eXp Commercial has its own Broker Team. They operate the same way as eXp Realty's State Broker Teams, but are specific to the Commercial brokerage — reach out to them through eXp Commercial's resources.
