eXp Pay ACH Payments for Rentals/Leases
eXp is excited to introduce a new payment option for Rentals and Leases. This new payment option will help to eliminate late payments to agents and paper checks to eXp. We are ready to take an innovative approach to making things easier for clients and agents!
What is eXp Pay?
- eXp Pay is a streamlined way to submit lease/rental compensation payments via QR code or payment link to eXp.
When can agents begin to offer eXp Pay for Rentals & Leases?
This service is available for payment to eXp on ONLY US Rental & Lease Payment(s)
- eXp CANNOT accept this form of payment on any other transaction types
How does it work?
- Agents will follow the normal standard process to create lease/rental files in SkySlope as outlined in the Transaction Quick Reference Guide.
- At the time of payment for the Lease/Rental compensation, eXp agents are able to provide a QR code or Payment Link to payors for payment submissions
- Payors are able to access eXp Pay via the QR code/link to remit payment to eXp
- Payors should populate the following important relevant fields to ensure the payments are properly applied to the correct transactions.
- Remitter Name
- Remitter Email
- Property Address
- Agent Name
- Agent Email
- Lease Payment Amount
- Remitters are then prompted to enter their payment information via Bank Account Options
- Upon payment submission, the remitter and agent should receive a confirmation via email advising the payment submission to eXp’s accounting department.
- Agents should save a PDF of the payment confirmation and attach to their SkySlope file in the “Copy of Rental Compensation Check” checklist item.
Is this service available for installment payments?
No, only US Residential Rentals/Leases at this time
Is this service available for Commercial transactions?
No, only US Residential Rentals/Leases at this time
Are there any fees to use this service?
Yes, remitters would be required to pay a $3.00 flat fee (non-refundable) per transaction processed through eXp Pay
After payment submission, how long should I expect to see payment as an agent?
Once remittance confirmation is uploaded to SkySlope we anticipate settlement within 24-48 hours.
Can a refund be issued after a payment has been made?
Yes, however, a refund is not immediate. Once payment is received, Payload requires a five (5) day hold before a refund request can be processed. If a refund is necessary, please contact eXpert Care at Expertcare@exprealty.net or 1-833-303-0610 for assistance with initiating the refund process. Be prepared to provide payment confirmation details and a valid reason for the refund.
Can I use eXp Pay to send payments to clients or third parties?
No. eXp Pay is strictly for compensation-only payments to eXp Realty. Payments to clients, landlords, tenants, or any third parties should not be submitted through this platform. Misuse may result in processing delays.
Is DepositLink still available?
No. eXp Pay is replacing the option to pay Lease/Rental compensation via DepositLink.
